Today's far from leisurely dog walk had my hand ya

Today's far from leisurely dog walk had my hand yanked through a metal fence (thanks dog!!!) so I'm now minus a bit of skin on my fingers 😬 I then fell over into mud, in front of a family having a picnic (thanks dog!!!)

Back home I then grabbed a metal tray that had come straight from the oven 😳 Fortunately it was with the same hand I'd injured earlier, so I had a lot less skin to blister 😄

May be time for bed 😴😴😴

On the day I get my rejection email from the Portrait Artist of the Year show 🙄 my pic of the day today is a small selection of my portrait work 😃

As a sensitive, delicate little artist, you kinda have two choices when rejection comes through... Let it get you down or let it motivate you further. Today I'm going with the latter 💗🙂💗 If the Arts Council say no to my recent application in a few weeks I may struggle to be quite so positive...

I'll keep it brief 🤓 HRT is still going great. Regular 10 weekly blood tests have been shifted to every 6 months, as my levels are all grand, which means a lot less needles 😀 Another paid for Gender Care appointment in April, probably via Zoom. As for free NHS treatment... Well, still no initial gender clinic appointment. Over three years I've been waiting so far 🙄 Checked tonight and due to lovely Covid the current NHS gender clinic waiting times have risen to 44 months 😃 You kinda have to laugh, otherwise you'd get stupidly and probably dangerously depressed 💗💗💗

A day that began with a bathroom leak and water pi

A day that began with a bathroom leak and water pissing through our kitchen ceiling 🙄 I'm shite in the morning and struggle to make breakfast most days, let alone do plumbing!!!

A day with lots of swearing at our temperamental boiler, who we've now renamed Rhymes With (its a Tin Star reference 😄)

A day with a walk in near Baltic conditions 🥶 I seriously hate the cold weather.

A day with a job rejection email 🙄 Oh well, their loss.

A day with a hefty art commission rejection email 🙄 Oh well, saves me some money on paint and petrol to Leicester.

A day being humped by our rather randy dog everytime I even look at him 😵
