I’m currently running three regular weekly art classes. One venue class in Belper, Derbyshire and two online Zoom classes. Initially I was hugely sceptical of the whole online teaching and I couldn’t really see how an art class would work via Zoom. As it turns out my Zoom art classes have been one of the few unexpected positives that have come out of this crazy covid pandemic. The Zoom classes have proved to be hugely popular. Classes have been fun, more informative and everyone seems to engage with each other a lot more. Zoom classes have also been accessible to people who wouldn’t normally be able to travel to sunny Derbyshire. So whilst it has been really lovely to return some of my sessions back into a venue, the Zoom art classes will remain a fairly permanent feature of my classes.
