Mixed Media Landscape Workshop

Saturday 5th September 2026 – 10.30 until 1.30PM
Artist Stephanie Coley will be running a mixed media landscape workshop at No.28 Belper. During the three hour session Steph will share her tips, knowledge and expertise on this fun process. People will get to experiment, explore & create artwork using a wide variety of collage and mixed-media materials. All abilities are welcome and no previous experience is necessary.
The workshop costs £35 per person. All art materials and refreshments provided.
This is not a traditional landscape painting workshop. This is something a lot more experimental and playful. During the workshop you’ll be encouraged to interpret your landscape in your own way. Experiment with colour. Use a varied selection of art materials in a multi-layered and organic style. Using landscape photos as inspiration, you’ll be urged to take elements from these images, rather than meticulously trying to replicate them.
Art Materials & equipment
Mixed media workshops are lovely, but they can be a bit of a nightmare when it comes to materials. A selection of materials will be available for people to use on the day.

If people want to bring any of their own materials or equipment along, please feel free to do so.
Refreshments
Hot & cold drinks will be provided, plus a selection of cakes, biscuits & snacks. If anyone has any specific dietary requirements please let Steph know via email prior to the session.
