And I’m not just talking about a playful little prod into the stomach here π‘
Answer…
When the lady in question has just bagged up her shopping at the end of the supermarket checkout and started to saunter off home, leaving behind on the conveyer-belt a small packet of chewing-gum. As I’m next in line I spot the packet instantly and ask who’s it is…
‘Oh it must be that lady’s’ the checkout girl informs me.
A few shouts down the shop fall on very deaf ears, so despite the fact that I have shopping of my own to buy and a rather heavy Sawyer under one arm I set off in pursuit, shouting as I go. The lady is well into the car-park when I exhaustedly catch her…
‘Hi, you left your chewing-gum at the checkout,’ I inform her and hand over the packet.
Without even uttering a single word, let alone a thank-you, the ‘lady‘ just nods down towards her shopping bags for me to drop the packet into π― I do so and she simply turns and continues on her merry way… Without even a single word π―
So I ask again… When is it ethically correct to punch a lady (very hard)?
